Warm summer evenings are underway, which means it’s time to gather friends and family to experience the magic of films al-fresco in a host of beautiful settings across the UK.
The Luna Cinema, in partnership with Little Moons, is back to celebrate its 15th consecutive year of open-air cinema with a brand-new programme that promises an epic summer of cinema under the stars.
An exclusive location in the 2022 summer season includes the grounds of the magnificent stately home, Harewood House. Situated in the stunning Yorkshire countryside just outside Leeds, Harewood House is a shining jewel in the crown of England’s Treasure Houses, making for a stunning backdrop to spectacular summer nights of cinema under the stars.
The programme at Harewood House features a brand-new line up of both classic and new film favourites you may have missed in the cinema when they were originally released due to Covid. Back on the big screen as originally intended, films screening in Yorkshire’s countryside include Oscar winning West Side Story, brand-new blockbuster hit Elvis; as well as the popular perennial Grease.
Cosy up with your plus-one for the evening on Luna’s brand-new Date Night Double Deckchair, which is positioned prior to your arrival to ensure the perfect view. Audiences can also choose to upgrade their general admission ticket with an optional seated ticket to include the use of a Luna director’s chair, or for the ultimate VIP experience guests can opt for the VIP Sofa, which offers two people the chance to watch the film from luxury sofa seating with blankets, heaters and a bottle of bubbly.
Tickets are available to purchase now from https://www.thelunacinema.com/cinema/the first viewing at Harewood House on 23rd August.
