Ultimate Power is, quite simply, an evening of the greatest songs ever written. A communal appreciation of colossal musical compositions from the titans of Power Ballads: Phil Collins, Mr Meat Loaf, Bonnie Tyler, Bon Jovi and many, many more besides.
Every single song is a classic, every single song is known and loved by all, and every single song is never played at any other club night in the world except Ultimate Power. The joyous, harmonious atmosphere is unlike any other club in the UK; it is no exaggeration to say that it is a truly life-changing experience – and now it’s coming to Leeds.
Since humble beginnings in the winter of 2006, Ultimate Power has become nothing less than a fully-fledged phenomenon. Outgrowing venue after venue due to incredible word-of-mouth, it now resides in London at the 1200 capacity Electric Ballroom, where sell-out crowds worship at the altar of Power Balladry every month. In Manchester, their home is the world-famous 1400 capacity Ritz, while the empire has expanded to take in Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff and Glasgow. Even continents cannot constrain it – the club is launching down under in Melbourne, Australia in a matter of weeks. Now, it is Leeds’ time.
