There are less than two weeks to go to get your golden ticket to see Leeds Playhouse’s smash hit Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – The Musical in its Quarry theatre before the spectacular production begins a UK & Ireland tour at Milton Keynes Theatre in February.
The enchanting production, which ends its 11-week run in Leeds on 28 January, directed by James Brining, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – The Musical takes the beauty and excitement of the beloved original story to new heights as audiences join Charlie Bucket on a musical adventure into the weird and wonderful Wonka Chocolate Factory with new songs, magical theatrical tricks and jaw-dropping digital projections.
Leeds Playhouse Artistic Director James Brining said: “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – The Musical is an outstanding achievement for the Playhouse and is a credit to each and every person who has brought this spectacular show to life. It is fantastic that so many people have enjoyed this production with their loved ones. I’m really looking forward to taking the show to audiences around the company and sharing this well-loved Roald Dahl story with even more people.”
Based on the novel by Roald Dahl and the Warner Bros. film, this devilishly delicious tale of young golden ticket winner Charlie Bucket and wild confectionary wizard Willy Wonka takes audiences to a world of pure imagination.
This Leeds Playhouse production is presented in association with Neal Street Productions and Playful Productions
