Get into the magic of Theatre with a guided Tour this festive season! Gain access to our newly renovated venue in all its glory as you learn about the history and stories of Grand Opera House York.
During the one hour tour guests will be given a brief history of the Grand Opera House and its many eminent performers over the years. The stage will be set for panto so guests will have a sneak preview of the set and might even bump into Berwick and the gang on their way around the venue. At the end of the tour the bars will be open for those who fancy a drink.
Tour routes involve a number of stairs due to the venue being a listed building. If you have any access requirements, please contact us before booking.

Christmas Sing along
Join us for a wonderful hour of festive classics, as we are led by a music professional. No experience needed!
Get into the Christmas spirit by singing some Christmas classics. You don’t need any experience or a professional background to join in the fun. Lyrics will be printed out for you and a keyboard player will accompany you, all you have to do is enjoy yourselves with an hour of song.
Tickets include a complimentary glass of prosecco on entry for over 18’s.
