Two of North Yorkshire’s top visitor attractions have teamed up to offer you the chance to trick or treat yourself to a return family visit in 2021 when you show your ghoulish costumes this Halloween Half Term Sat 24th Oct – Sun 1st Nov.
The North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) and Whitby Abbey have joined forces to offer a spooktacular day out this half term.
Enjoy an atmospheric steam hauled trip on the NYMR’s Optimist service, two daily services travelling direct from Pickering to Whitby, dressed in your best fancy dress. Hop off in Whitby and head to the Abbey for a few hours of Halloween fun, including a creepy trail and spooky stories, then jump back on the train to Pickering to round off the trip.
Any guests that visit the Railway and the Abbey in fancy dress, share a #spookyselfie and tag in both attractions on social media, could be in with the chance to win not one, but two family days out in 2021.
The attractions will pick their favourite spooky selfie and the winner will receive a free family pass to revisit both destinations next year.
