Easter break sparks social search in Leeds

Leeds is set for an exciting city-wide Easter egg hunt in the run up to this month’s bank holiday celebrations. Clues on social media will reveal the city centre locations of 30 Easter eggs, which can be exchanged for the finest champagne and handmade chocolates.

Trinity Leeds bar and restaurant Angelica has partnered with Moët & Chandon to create the challenge, which takes place from Monday 21st to Thursday 24th March. Clues will be revealed via Angelica’s Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts.

The eggs will be hidden in art galleries, hair salons, hotels and many other city centre spots, so people are urged to follow the #AngelicaEaster hashtag for additional hints.

Anyone who returns an egg to Angelica over the bank holiday weekend will receive two free glasses of champagne and a selection of Easter chocolates, handmade especially by Head Pastry Chef, Stefan Rose.

Also, Good Friday will see the launch of Angelica’s Thanks F*zz It’s Friday offer, with Lunetta Prosecco and Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial NV available from £25 and £40 per bottle, as well as a series of rooftop parties with live DJs.

Mark Morris, Angelica & Crafthouse General Manager, added:

“Teaming up with Moët has put a luxurious twist on the traditional Easter egg hunt so we’re excited to see how the people of Leeds take up the challenge. Some of the eggs will be much harder to find than others! Stefan has been hard at work in the kitchen creating some unique Easter chocolates, so returning the eggs to us will certainly be worth it.”
