As a very young journalist I was dispatched to Edinburgh to cover some cultural event and when I got to my hotel I couldn’t get near as The Bay City Rollers were staying there!
I remember having to convince security who I was and why I was there until eventually when I produced my press card and copy of my hotel booking they let me in. Thank goodness the ‘Rollers’ left later in the day or I would have had no peace at all during my two day stay.
Well Les McKeown’s Bay City Rollers are taking a unique voyage back to the 1970’s when they ruled the world and the pop charts and their music became the soundtrack for a generation of teenagers.
Les is bringing back the thrill of those days to St George’s Hall on Saturday 28 September. They will be performing all their hits including Bye Bye Baby, Remember, Give A Little Love plus many many more.
