Amélie The Musical – the critically-acclaimed new UK musical stage show based on the five-time Oscar®-nominated film is coming to the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford this July.
West End performer, Strictly Come Dancing favourite and television actor Danny Mac plays the sweet daydreamer ‘Nino Quincampoix’ with French-Canadian stage and screen star Audrey Brisson as ‘Amélie Poulain’.
The beloved story of Amélie, an imaginative and shy romantic with a gift for helping others, is a vibrant re-conception of the film with new orchestrations which has garnered critical and public acclaim and five-star reviews from the national press since its gala performance earlier this year.
Amélie is the story of an astonishing young woman who lives quietly in the world, but loudly in her mind. She secretly improvises small, but extraordinary acts of kindness that bring happiness to those around her.
But when the chance to love comes her way, Amelie realises that of find her own contentment she’ll have to risk everything and say whats in her heart.
