Prep yourself for bier and bratwurst, because Germany’s largest beer festival is back!

This year’s Oktoberfest Leeds will be held 11-13th October, and tickets are already flying out.  Less than 100 tickets remain for Friday, and Thursday is close behind. Only a select few Saturday tickets remain.

Get ready to swing a stein or two to the strains of a cheerful oompah band, don those lederhosen and whip out that GCSE German (definitely optional) at the South Bank Depot. Walking distance from Leeds’ train station, this Globe Road venue is at the heart of the South Bank regeneration Leeds has been witnessing over the last few years.

One of Germany’s largest traditional festivals and one of the largest beer festivals in the world, Oktoberfest’s Leeds version will set you up for a true celebration – of both beer, and all things Bavarian.

A range of German beers await the Oktoberfest partygoer, but there will also be plenty for the non-beer drinker too, with wine, prosecco and soft drinks also readily available at the bar. Food wise, you won’t be drinking on an empty stomach, with all the Bavarian favourites on offer, from Bratwurst to Currywurst.

And of course, no Oktoberfest is complete without an inhouse oompah band, who will keep the party going all evening (and afternoon) long, with a mixture of singalong hits and Bavarian classics.
