The Alchemist Trinity Sells its One-Millionth Cocktail
The renowned Alchemist cocktail bar and restaurant in Trinity Leeds is delighted to reveal that it is set to shake up its one millionth cocktail this January!
The brains behind this imbibing destination have completed the mind-boggling mathematics, and calculated that the talented bar team has been serving up an average of 1.3 cocktails per minute since opening in March 2013 – taking them to a total of nearly one million! With an array of weird and wonderful favourites on the menu, including colour-changing cocktails, hip flasks, and the ‘mad hatter’s tea party’ served smoking in tea-cups, it is no surprise that The Alchemist has been such a roaring success.
To celebrate this milestone, The Alchemist is offering the lucky patron who places the one-millionth cocktail order, the chance to win a once-in-a-lifestyle treat to share with friends. Taking inspiration from the film, Cocktail, the millionth cocktail will be accompanied by a much-coveted bottle of Louis XIII cognac worth a staggering £2,000.
Simon Potts, Managing Director, The Alchemist, said: “Selling one million cocktails is no mean feat, and we felt that it was something that needed celebrating. We know that the cocktail tally is currently in the high 900,000s, so we predict that the millionth one will be sold around mid-month – we cant wait to surprise the lucky customer with the extra-special cognac gift, to share with their friends. They’re destined to be the most popular person in the bar, that’s for sure!”
Running alongside this giveaway is a one-off competition, hosted by Capital FM for The Alchemist Trinity between 25 and 31 January. Listeners will have the chance to win dinner and drinks at The Alchemist, and a night’s stay at Malmaison Leeds.
