Since the Olympic Gold Medal was won by Bryony Page, trampolining has become the number one new sport for everyone. And now there’s a chance to get jumping for joy with the opening of a new trampoline park in Leeds.
Oxygen Freejumping, the UK’s leading chain of trampoline parks, is getting ready to open its doors in Leeds on Friday 23rd September.
Bookings for the Leeds venue are now open and the new park, located at Cardigan Fields Leisure Park, Kirkstall Road, will provide over 100 interconnected trampolines and a variety of activities including fitness classes, dodgeball and volleyball tournaments.
With research showing that 50% of seven year olds are not meeting the recommended 60 minutes of daily physical activity trampolining is a great way to ensure children can exercise in a fun, safe environment without even realising it! Freejumping releases euphoria induced endorphins and mood enhancing serotonin, so the park promises to put a smile on everyone’s face all day, every day!
David Stalker, CEO of Oxygen Freejumping, commented: “It’s so exciting to be bringing our unique jumping activities to Leeds. We know all too well that children and adults need to move a bit more and freejumping is certainly the most fun you can have with your socks on!”
Freejumping offers a fantastic solution to raise heart rates in a fun filled environment – 33% more calories are burnt than the equivalent time spent running and there is no jarring of the load bearing joints or spine, meaning exercising in this way is a great alternative for boosting fitness levels.
Oxygen Leeds will feature trampolining coaching, DJ nights, toddler only sessions and much more.
